After speaking with the dispatcher, she told me Steven could be at my house within an hour — which was perfect because it gave me just enough time to run out and buy a new toilet. Steven arrived right on time, was friendly, courteous, and professional. He gave me an upfront estimate of $400, which I felt was fair considering the urgency and the potential cost of toilet replacements.
He finished the job within about an hour and offered a one-year guarantee at no additional cost. The new toilet looks great, works perfectly, and I really appreciated knowing that if there had been any issues with the flange, he was prepared to fix that too — luckily, everything was in great shape.
Yes, it was a little on the higher end price-wise, but you truly get what you pay for — excellent service, quality work, and peace of mind. I’d 100% recommend GoldStar Plumbing to anyone in the area who needs a reliable plumber, especially for emergency services.

Steve is amazing. He installed a water softening system in my house 11/2024. He came back to change the filter at the 6 month mark. Then the filter failed, to no fault of him, it was a product defect. 1/2 of my basement got water damage.
I called in a panic at 12pm on a Tuesday afternoon and he was here within 2 hours to figure out the problem.
He took full responsibility, got a water damage company in here to dry everything out and thankfully saved my carpets.
He then found other problem areas in my house and did all of the repairs at an amazingly affordable price.
He is professional, prompt and very efficient in his work. I highly recommend this company and will be using them for all of my future plumbing work.

Steve and his partner do old school work, they make sure job is done correctly, even the caulking of the base of the toilet is done nicely. Called Gold Star on Monday to see if someone could come out for a variety of small issues that were stacking around the house. Allie picked up and was able to get me scheduled for the next day. Just having a real person pick up the phone was a pleasant surprise. No messages, no call back later - just explained what I was looking for and got me scheduled.
Steve and George arrived at 11am and texted me to let me know they were on the way (the window was between 10-2pm). I showed them the different issues I was having and Steve went over the various options they had for me as solutions. Once we had a plan in place he provided me an estimate and they got to work.
A few hours later they wrapped up and got on their way.

Just move into the area and try to look for a local plumber. I went online to search for my needs. After reading review of a couple plumbers, I decide to go with Gold Star Plumbing. We added a utility sink and fix the crack sewage line. Steve done a fantastic job. He is responsive to questions. Also his team wear shoes cover and try to be as clean as possible. Overall I am very happy with his work.

Just moved to a new house and the inspector said there was some plumbing issues that should be addressed. I contacted Steven to come assess the problems and not only was he respectful, kind and courteous but he was also honest. Before doing any work he explained what he recommended done, including things that didn’t necessarily need to be or could wait. We had old galvanized pipes throughout our house that leaked like crazy and made our water rusty. Steve and his team cut out & removed all the old pipes and replaced the waterlines in the whole house. He also replaced & frostproofed our outside hose bib, replaced the shower handle, and installed a hot water recirculating pump at the water heater - we now don’t wait more than 7 seconds anywhere in the house for hot water! He was on time, courteous, & professional. His prices are fair, the quality is excellent, and he added some extra touches like replacing & fixing the hot water heater expansion tank another plumber rigged up and gave us easily accessible valves for every water line. He got the work done in the promised timeline and we are very pleased with the workmanship. I highly recommend Gold Star Plumbing and will continue to call them for any future plumbing needs.
Update 2023: Part of the outdoor hose bib Steve replaced last fall had a defective part and started leaking. He came out and replaced it free of charge. Steve stands by his work.
We had a leak in our hot water heater flooding out our basement (installed by another company and still under warranty). Steve came out right away and had a replacement water heater installed that evening. He took care of sending back the old one for the warranty for us.

Gold Standard Plumbing is top-notch! Steven replaced my hot water heater today and was incredibly thorough in explaining the process , ensuring that I understood everything.
